You may have heard of the master cleanse, which is a diet that has become very popular recently despite the fact that it has actually been around for a while. Essentially, the diet, which is also referred to as the lemonade diet, is designed to clean out your entire system and help you to lose weight at the same time. Many people have had a lot of success with it, and fothe master cleansellowing it properly is a very healthy, natural way to lose weight. The first part of the process is not required, and because that is the case many people simply skip it. Of course, if it is your first time attempting the diet, you should consider including it.

Essentially, you will ease your body into the master cleanse by only eating fruits and vegetables the first day, smoothies and soups the second day, and orange juice the third day. After that, you will begin the lemonade diet. This special sequence allows your body to prepare itself so it will not be shocked when you go on an all liquid diet for 7 to 14 days. After that, you will be ready for the special formula. To do it, you will need fresh lemon juice, cayenne pepper, maple syrup, and pure water.

You will begin by mixing 8 ounces of water in a large glass with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of maple syrup, and 1/10th of a teaspoon of cayenne pepper powder. This is the master cleanse drink, and you will have 6 to 12 glasses of it each day for however long you decide to stay on the diet. Typically, people do it for about 7 to 14 days, though some go shorter and some go for a much longer time period. However, when you are done with it, you need to ease your body out of the process and prepare it for solid food again.

To ease your body out of the process, you start with fresh orange juice only on the first day. The next day, you will have things like smoothies or soup, and the last day you can eat fruits and vegetables again. At this point, your body will be ready and you will avoid any shock. Of course, if you want to keep the pounds that you lost off, you should continue to eat a good amount of fruits and vegetables.
